Yellow Blackout Blinds
We’ve put together a concise yellow range for our Blackouts. But then again - less is more. One of the four colours might be the one you decide to dress your window with.
Yellow captures the joy of sunshine and speaks happiness. It is a popular choice for kitchens, dining rooms and bathrooms, because in whatever tone it has an energising element to it. Yellow has a darker side - so don’t over do your space with it. Studies show that people are more likely to lose their temper in a yellow interior. Studies have shown that yellow overkill can evoke frustration and anger. Use it wisely and what better place to put it than on your windows? The Vitra Acid is a sunburst of yellow, without overdoing it. And then there’s crisp Vitra Zest, which mimics the zest of a lemon, which means that this would work well in a kitchen. The Roxy Blackout Summer is probably the purest yellow on the Blackout palette - it would go well against slate and granite backdrops, giving them the lift they might need. Estella Citrus, on the other hand, has orange undertones, making it soft and more soothing to the eye. This could be matched with oaty, wheaty shades or if you are feeling brave, you could try it with soft lilacs and salmon pinks.
