- The Surefit guarantee covers incorrect measurements only and products will only be replaced with the same specification as per the original order with the exception of the relevant sizing issue.
- If the new measurements come out at a higher price than you originally paid, you will be charged the difference in price. If the new measurements are less than the original price paid, you will not be refunded the difference.
- Should the new measurements be smaller than the original measurements, if we are able to, we will amend that item rather than manufacture a brand new item.
- We will use the price on the website, at the time of you placing your surefit order. We cannot honour any previous sale prices or offer any discount codes on this.
- Should you activate the Surefit guarantee, the original order will need to be returned in the original packaging prior to delivery of your new order. Should this be damaged in any way, we reserve the right to cancel your Surefit guarantee and stop production of your replacement items. Should you have paid for the Surefit guarantee, no monies will be refunded.
- Should you wish to activate the Surefit guarantee, you must notify us of the correct measurements within 10 working days of receipt of your original purchase.
- Upon activating your Surefit guarantee, you must pay the applicable delivery charges in any circumstance.
- We are only able to offer one remake per item where Surefit Guarantee was selected at point of sale. Any subsequent orders will not be covered if Surefit guarantee was not selected at point of sale.
- Should the item be out of stock at the time of placing your surefit order. We can either refund the amount paid for surefit or you would need to await for the stock to arrive in. We would not refund the original item.

Roof Blind Size
You will normally find your window size listed on the inside top edge of your window.
If you are struggling to find it, we have built a handy lookup table where you can measure the visible glass size and convert it back to a window code. View glass size lookup table.
Top tip: If you have an older Velux window and your window size is prefixed by a 0, don’t worry about this. They are the same. For example, there is no difference between GGL-4 and GGL-04.
Bead Depth
When ordering your blind, you will need to provide your window's bead depth so we can provide you with the right size bracket which your blind clips on to. To measure place a credit card across the corner of your window frame, and measure from the glass to your credit card.
Window Type
You will normally find your window type listed on the inside top edge of your window.
If you are struggling to find it, simply select GGL (which is a universal code) and then ensure you select the correct Size.
What is T-post
T-posts are a recommended support for Tier on Tier shutters. It is a horizontal bar which the top tier sits on, ensuring that the shutter does not sag. As this is a recommended part of the shutter, any Tier on Tier shutters that are purchased without a T-post will not be covered by our guarantee.

When the motorisation upgrade is selected, this option determines the position of the motor and charging point for easy access.
Material Join
Due to the size of your blind and the dimensions of the fabric, we will need to make a join in the material. We will make the join along the width of the blind as close to the top of the roller blind as we possibly can. In some cases the join will be hidden especially if the blind is never fully closed.
Handle Position
To ensure a perfect fit, we'll customise a section of the shutter frame to accommodate your window handle opening. Please inform us of the handle's position in relation to the rest of the window in millimetres.
Measuring for this is a straightforward process. Ensure that your handle is in the fully open position, then measure from the edge of the glass to the centre of the handle. If your handle is located at the bottom of the window, always measure from the left side of the glass to the centre of the handle. However, if the handle is positioned on either the left or right side, measure from the bottom of the glass to the centre of the handle.

Material Join
Due to the fabric width selected for your Roman blind, a symmetrical join will be required on either side. Rest assured, we take great care to ensure if there are patterns in your chosen fabric that these are precisely aligned for a seamless finish.

External Battery
For narrower blinds, an external battery pack is required and will be included with your order. It fits neatly behind the headrail, maintaining a seamless, uncluttered look.

How to measure your product
Measure as of below if you want your blind to fit inside the window recess.
- Measure in 3 Places - Measure the window recess in 3 places for both width and drop and choose the smallest measurement of the recess.
- Do not make any deductions - as you have measured for inside recess we will make the deductions so your blind will fit perfectly.
- When Ordering - When placing your order you will enter the smallest measurements for width and drop into our website and choose the "Recess" option as you have measured for a recess fitting
- Top Tip- always use a quality steel tape measure for accurate measuring.
- Need Help- If you are unsure please do not hesitate to contact our customer services team who will be more than happy to help.
Measure as of below if you want your blind to hang outside the window recess so it overlaps the window.
- Measure the exact width of the area whereyou would like the blind to cover and we recommend to overlap by 6 cm extra on both sides and 7 cm at the top to allowfor overlap .
- The overlap at the bottom- would be up to yourself as it is personal choice on where you want the bottom of the blind to finish.
- When Ordering -When placing your order you will enter the measurements you require for the width and drop into our website and choose the "Exact Blind Size" option as you have measured and want your blind to be made to your exact sizes. Remember you are ordering a Blind so the full product bracket to bracket not just the fabric part of the blind.

How to fit your product
Important Notes
The headrails on some of our blinds have recently been upgraded and therefore you may notice a slight difference in terms of colour and/or features. A pelmet is provided to cover the headrail so the potential difference in colour or size should not be noticeable.
Images are shown for illustration purposes only. While every effort is made to ensure accurate colour and detail representation, we always recommend ordering a free sample before making your purchase.
Our motorised solution allows you to turn your slats in both directions but will not raise or lower your blind. Your blind can be raised and lower as usual using the cord lift.
The overall drop of your blind may vary slightly depending on the slat size selected. We always aim to manufacture as close as possible to your specified measurement; however, the finished blind may be slightly longer than the requested drop.
Your blind comes complete with all the necessary brackets and fittings for straightforward installation. Our universal brackets allow for both face and top fixing to the wall, window frame, or lintel. Side fitting within a recess is not recommended, as standard deductions may affect the fit. The raise control is positioned on the right-hand side, with the tilt control on the left.
As these blinds are cut from standard lengths, the ends may be unfinished or unpainted. This will not affect the appearance of your blind, as the ends are concealed when fitted within a recess.
Please note, all made to measure are produced to a +/- 5mm tolerance level. This is in addition to any recess deduction. When ordering a made to measure item, you are responsible for entering you required width and drop, therefore the product cannot be returned under normal terms and conditions. Please note that all our made to measure products are crafted within a manufacturing tolerance of +/-5mm. These tolerances apply in addition to any recess deductions made during production. As measurements are supplied by the customer, made to measure products are custom-made to your specifications and therefore non-returnable under our standard terms and conditions.
The pelmet is supplied at a standard length to allow it to cover the headrail when the blind is fitted outside the window recess. It is mitred on one end only, so it may need to be trimmed to size using a fine wood saw or hacksaw. A mitred edge is only necessary for outside-recess installations - for blinds fitted within the recess, a straight cut provides a neat, finished look.
Child Safety
We take the safety and well-being of children very seriously. That's why all of our blinds are supplied with a child safety device, which ensures cords and chains are safely secured to the wall, preventing the risk of strangulation. Each blind is manufactured with a maximum chain length of one metre, keeping it out of reach of small children. If you require a chain longer than one metre, please contact us when you have placed your order. Conditions will still apply in accordance with child safety regulations.
